Bristol Friends of the Arts
Bristol Friends of the Arts (BFA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of Bristol area residents by providing opportunities for community members to participate in and appreciate the arts and cultural heritage of our region.
Our programs include the BFA Community Grants Program, the Fine and Performing Arts Mentoring Program, BFA and Sandy Gullikson Scholarships, the instrument rental program, Artists' Alley and special community events like the Giant Palette, Winterlude and Art Walks.
Affiliate programs include Art on Main, the Bristol Historical Society and the Howden Hall Restoration Committee.

|
BFA-sponsored projects have provided visibility and income for local artists and craftspeople, opportunities for children and young people to develop their artistic talents and find an audience, opportunities for established artists to share their skills and knowledge, and special events like concerts in the Walk Over Gallery.
