48 Hour Self Portrait of Bristol

Midnight -Midnight
Friday Sept. 26 & Saturday Sept. 27

We invite the people of Bristol to photograph the town — its people, places and events — for two days:
Friday, Sept.26 and Saturday, Sept.27. Photographs can be submitted via bristolrec.org.
Only 12 submissions per person please. A digital slide show will be presented to the community at a later date.

All images must be submitted after 12:01am on Sept. 26 and before 11:59 PM on Sept.27.

Bristol Recreation Department staff will select photos.
Anyone can participate. All photos must be family friendly

Buildings
Downtown street scenes shopkeepers, trades people, advertising,
Education — students, teachers, classrooms, schools,
Food — vegetable gardening, farmers’ market, preparing food, restaurants, cafés
Government & politics — Selectboard members or other meetings, candidates, campaigns, demonstrations, community organizing and activism, municipal workers
Contributions and accomplishments of individuals or groups, cultural organizations or nonprofits.
Home & family – Houses, families and family life (Keywords: home, family)
Leisure & sports — People in leisure pursuits, including hobbies and sports
Open space — Parks, trail, walking paths
Schools, churches

Submission of photographs grants permission to the town of Bristol to use the photographs in digital and printed shows, to display them on a publicly accessible website, to use them in publicity, and to store them permanently in a digital archive. Individual
photographers retain all other rights to their own photos.
